NP decides to sit in opposition in Balochistan Assembly, says Dr. Malik Baloch

QUETTA: The President National Party and member of Balochistan Assembly, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has stated that the party has decided to sit in opposition in the provincial assembly.
Speaking to the media persons after his walk out from the assembly session on Thursday, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that the February 8, 2024’s elections were the worst in history of the country and so of Balochistan.
He said that the party’s central committee discussed the situation following recent elections in detail.
He said that after discussion, it was decided that party would sit on opposition benches. He also said that as a mark of protest we also boycotted the assembly session and election proceedings for the speaker and deputy speaker.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that we are democratic people and as such would continue our struggle in democratic manner.
