As a part of the Clean and Green Pakistan Program, spring plantation campaign was inaugurated at Deputy Commissioners House Mardan. Deputy Commissioner Mardan Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao formally inaugurated the plantation drive by planting saplings. Divisional Forest Office staff were also present on this occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the citizens to make planting a part of every event in their lives and involve their children in this process so that their education can include the love of plants and all the beauties of the nature. He said that plantations are the best means to prevent climate change.
