QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has stressed that youth should comprehend the philosophy of Poet of the Easter, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and work for the country’s stability, development and prosperity utilizing their capabilities and potential.
The Chief Minister stated so in a message issued here on the eve of birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal being observed on November 9 today (Thursday).
Mir Ali Mardan Domki said that Allama Iqbal has always given lesson of courage and braveness to the Muslims. He said that the element of collectivities is seen in poetry of Allama Iqbal.
The Chief Minister also said that Allama Iqbal also gave lesson to the Muslims to strictly follow the principles of ancestors and implement their teachings.
He mentioned that Allama Iqbal presented the two-nation theory first of all, and promoted the impression through his poetry that Muslims of the sub-continent have their unique status. Their (Muslims) living standards and religious virtues are also different than other nationalities living in the Sub-continent then, he maintained.
The Muslims of sub-continent materialized the dream of getting separate country for them following the approach of Allama Iqbal, the Chief Minister said.
While praying for the country’s development and prosperity, Mr. Domki said that the people of Pakistan and Balochistan are standing by their armed forces and security agencies who have rendered sacrifice of their lives.
