Islamabad, Mr. Qaiser Nawab, a dynamic young politician affiliated with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), commended PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his active leadership in mobilizing young people. In a recent statement, Mr. Nawab highlighted the PPP’s commitment to empowering women and youth by nominating the youngest-ever female candidate from a minority group in Buner with a party ticket for the upcoming elections on February 8, 2024.
Expressing his admiration for Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mr. Nawab lauded him as one of the youngest and most active party leaders in Pakistan. This move by PPP underscores the party’s dedication to amplifying the voices of women and youth in mainstream politics.
Additionally, Mr. Nawab welcomed the Commonwealth Observer Group (COG) led by Former President of Nigeria HE Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. He appreciated the COG’s role in promoting democracy and acknowledged the group’s recognition of youth voices, emphasizing the significance of the Commonwealth’s 1.2 billion youth population, the largest in the world.
After an insightful discussion with the COG, Mr. Qaiser Nawab emphasized the challenges faced by the youth in contemporary politics. He highlighted issues such as wealth concentration, mistrust, and the manipulation of political choices. Mr. Nawab called for united efforts to address these challenges and create a more inclusive political landscape where democracy thrives.
