A young laborer, Haris, 14, was killed in a landslide while working at a construction site near Tatara Ground in Khyber. His brother, Shabbir, appealed to the district administration and PDMA for financial assistance, saying the family is too poor to bear the loss.
Shabbir said Haris was working for a daily wage of Rs. 300 to support their family. He demanded compensation from the authorities, citing their financial inability to cope with the tragedy.
The incident occurred when a mound of earth suddenly collapsed, burying Haris under the debris. Security personnel present at the scene retrieved the body from the rubble.
The family is seeking financial support from the government and relevant authorities to cope with the loss of their breadwinner.
