PESHAWAR – World Tourism Mart, the biggest global festival of tourism, has started in London.The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated at World Tourism Mart (WTM) by the Minister of State for Tourism and Youth Affairs, Wasi Shah, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.He did this with the High Commissioner of Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Faisal in London.Under the leadership of Wasi Shah, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), Provincial Department of Tourism, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are participating in the world’s largest travel show. Appreciating the arrangements of Travel Mart, Wasi Shah said that international Shows like WTM showcasing Pakistan’s tourist destinations on the surface will help attract more tourists to Pakistan in the days to come.The federal minister said that Pakistan has been blessed with the most beautiful landscapes and cultural diversity in the world, which makes Pakistan the best country for tourism. He said that the government believes in promoting tourism activities in Pakistan to support the country’s economy.Tourism can be a great source of foreign exchange for Pakistan if the infrastructure is improved and effective strategies adopted in the world are adopted.Tourism Minister also received suggestions from the participants in this regard , and assured them of all possible support from the Government of Pakistan to facilitate the tourism industry.Reflecting the country’s tourism in the World Travel Mart, the Pakistan Pavilion attracted a large number of tourists, representatives of international travel companies and social media. Attracted the attention of media influencers.The Pakistan Pavilion at the World Travel Mart was also the center of attention for those who had previously visited Pakistan for tourism and were interested in visiting Pakistan again to visit other tourist destinations of Pakistan.WTM London is one of the world’s largest travel shows and introduces visitors to more than 5,000 of the world’s top destinations and brands.Minister of State for Tourism and Assistant Special Affairs of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Wasi Shah appreciated the role of the Pakistan High Commission for the support of the Tourism Development Corporation of Pakistan for Pakistan’s participation in the World Travel Mart in London. The World Travel Mart will continue from November 6 to November 8, 2023.
