World fame boxer Muhammad Waseem gets warm welcome in hometown Quetta

QUETTA: The world fame professional boxer, Muhammad Waseem arrived home town, Quetta on Wednesday afternoon after registering thumbing victory against the Georgian boxer in an international ranking fight in Malta earlier this month.
The Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch along with the Secretary Sports and other concerned high ups welcomed Muhammad Waseem at the Quetta airport.
Speaking to the media persons soon after his arrival at the Quetta airport, boxer Muhammad Waseem thanked the provincial government for warm welcome accorded to him on his arrival.
He said t hat he is very much pleased on winning international ranking fight. He pledged to keep on earning laurels for the country at the international level and maintained that he would bring the world boxing title in the country.
Speaking to the media, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch said that there is a lot of talent in youth of the province. She said that Muhammad Waseem brightened the name of Pakistan after the martial arts and combat fighter Shahzaib Rind.
She reiterated the government’s resolve to support youths of the province. She also made commitment to meet all needs of the talented sports persons of the province.
