Karachi (September 25) Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has lauded the efforts of the Arts Council of Pakistan for organizing the mega event, the World Culture Festival, in Karachi. He praised the President of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Ahmed Shah, and his team, highlighting that such a grand event will significantly enhance Pakistan’s soft image on the global stage.
Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori expressed these views during a meeting with Ahmed Shah at the Governor House. During the meeting, Ahmed Shah briefed Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori about the details of the World Culture Festival. The festival will run from September 26 to October 30, 2024, and will feature participation from artists representing 40 countries, including Palestine.
He further informed that more than 450 artists will perform across 40 theaters, with 55 musical performances, 50 dance performances, 20 workshops, 10 talks, and 5 fine art exhibitions scheduled to take place during the festival.
Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori reiterated his support for such cultural initiatives, emphasizing their importance in promoting a positive global image for Pakistan.
