QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has stated that Quetta city is the face of our province and as such concrete decisions would be taken for resolving the civic issues of Quetta taking all stakeholders in confidence in next meeting.
The Chief Minister was chairing meeting on the issues being faced by Quetta, solution to them and beautification of the city, here on Monday.
The members of provincial assembly belonging to Quetta participated in the meeting.
The suggestions about provision of education, health, water and electricity in Quetta city were sought from the participants. They were also asked to give suggestions about improvement in communication, traffic and cleanliness situation.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that practical measures have been started for effective cleanliness and beautification of the Quetta city.
He said that work would be started for cleanliness of Quetta under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
He said that an organized strategy would be prepared for resolving the issues of traffic in Quetta city.
He also announced that a festival would be organized in Quetta city every month.
Besides, we have also started steps for rehabilitation of drug addicts in Quetta.
Meanwhile, the MPAs belonging to Quetta presented recommendations for resolving different issues of Quetta city.
He directed to provide facility of lift for more effectiveness of the parking plaza located on Circular road in Quetta.
