Women Development Dept to extend full cooperation to achieve SDGs of UNFPA in various sectors: Rubaba

QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Women Development Department, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi has made complete assurance to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in achieving its sustainable development goals (SDGs) in different sectors including women health and balance in population and resources in the province.
The Advisor for Women Development was speaking to the Head of UNFPA, Dr. Luay Shabaneh who called on him here on Thursday.
The UNFPA Head briefed the Advisor about overall functioning and projects being executed by the Fund in different sectors in Balochistan.
Also present in the meeting were Provincial Head of UNFPA Balochistan, Dr. Sarmad Saeed and Provincial Coordinator of MNCH Programme, Dr. Gul Sabin Ghaurezai.
During the course of meeting, there was discussion on different matters of mutual interest including healthcare of women and their participation in decision making.
Dr. Rubaba Buledi on the occasion assured full cooperation on behalf of her department for implementation on the programmes of UNFPA besides achieving the sustainable development goals in different sectors.
