QUETTA: The representative of World Health Organization, Dr. Palitha Mahipala met the Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan here on Tuesday.
During the course of meeting, both discussed the matters about polio eradication, immunization and other related matters.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary appreciated the timely measures taken by the provincial government for prevention of Congo virus in the province.
He said that the medical staff set great example of human service by caring the Congo infected patients in the hospitals.
The Chief secretary thanked the WHO head for giving priority to the health department Balochistan.
He said that the provincial government is paying attention on the primary healthcare in the province.
