Quetta, August 4: The Meteorological Department of the Government of Balochistan has warned that heavy rainfall and flash flooding are expected in various districts of the province over the next three to four days. The districts that may be affected include Sibi, Harnai, Ziarat, Awaran, Kech, Panjgur, Barkhan, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Jhal Magsi, Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, and Musakhel.
The department has advised all relevant authorities to remain alert during this period. According to the report, scattered thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected in various districts on Sunday, including Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Lasbela, Hub, Awaran, Kech, Ziarat, Harnai, Sibi, Duki, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Nasirabad, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, and Barkhan.
On Monday, similar weather conditions are expected in the same districts, with a possibility of light rainfall in Quetta, Qila Saifullah, Gwadar, Washuk, Zhob, Sherani, Loralai, and Musakhel. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a chance of light rain in Kharan, Nushki, Qila Abdullah, and Chaman.
