QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that our institutions have the backbone status in providing infrastructural framework for good governance and strong administration in the country and province.
But expectations of high performance and dignified future of can not be made with the weak backbone, he insisted adding because experience proves that a weak base cannot support the high ambitions.
The Governor said that this is our collective misfortune that the particulars and data of our majority institutions and directorates aren’t computerized in the fast era of digital information technology even.
He made it crystal clear that if we didn’t make computerization of our system and institutions immediately for meeting the modern requirements and public needs, then we can face serious issues in near future.
Therefore, we have to take steps for taking revolutionary measures in order to remove these flaws just because, our overall performance is badly affected without computerizing our system and the institutions.
He regretfully pointed out that it takes several months to pass even a minor file in the government offices. As a result, our precious time, energy and investment is wasted and the common people suffer from long deprivations.
Therefore, it is necessary to speed up the official performance, ensure computerization in the institutions and take concrete steps for removing sense of deprivations prevailing among the people, adding he stressed.
