We have to fight against terrorism together, no need to carry out grand operation in Balochistan, says Chief Minister

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that we would speak to those who want to surrender and speak to us.
He said that he is in favour of talks, but with whom, the talks may be held?, adding he questioned.
He said that we have not closed the doors of dialogue.
But, no one would be allowed to sabotage the peace of Balochistan.
We would welcome those who want to join the national mainstream.
He said that we wouldn’t allow anyone to impose one’s ideology or narrative through use of force.
The Chief Minister said that terrorists attacked in different areas and places, in which 38 innocent people were martyred.
He said they are not angry Balochs, who are involved in the incidents of terrorism, rather they are terrorists.
He said that terrorists didn’t kill Punjabi speaking people rather they killed Pakistanis.
He said that the terrorists want to sabotage the peace in Balochistan, but the state would take steps to establish its writ.
He said that there are so many people who say that negotiations should be held.
He insisted that we are ready to speak to those who want to surrender and speak to us.
These views were expressed by the Chief Minister while addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Chief Minister secretariat on Monday.
The parliamentary leaders of different parties were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister maintained that the terrorists have no religion, tribe or nationality, but they are terrorists.
Referring the Musakhail tragic incident, the Chief Minister said that innocent people were killed after offloading them from the buses.
He said that 21 terrorists have so far been killed in response to the terrorists attacks. While there are also reports of killing of four to five more terrorists, he added.
He said that it is against the Balochi traditions to kill the innocent people after offloading them from the buses. It is also a cruelty to kill the innocent people in front of their families.
To a query, the Chief Minister said that there’s no need of grand operation in the province.
He said that soft operation would be carried out against terrorists but not the grand operation.
He said that we would establish the check posts where these would be required.
However, we would eliminate terrorism using force and terrorists would be given exemplary punishment.
He said that judiciary, media and society has to fight war against terrorism as this is not the war only of the state.
He said that we know that from where, the terrorists are getting support.
He said that this confusion must be ended now that there are no angry Balochs, all of them are terrorists.
Referring the Bela incident, the Chief Minister said that terrorists couldn’t enter the gate, and they were killed at the door.
He on the occasion urged youth not to be misled and support the state.
He said that we would enhance the capability of our forces, and would eliminate terrorism considering it a challenge.
He said we wouldn’t be paying any heed towards propaganda tool regarding the check posts.
