We are determined to develop first women university of Province, raise education standard: Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that we are making conscious efforts to put first women university of the province and raise standard of education further.
The Governor said that vice chancellor-ship of the University is not mere an honour but it is also a big responsibility.
He said that we have gathered to witness the art pieces in the fine art exhibition based on the beautiful combination of the conscience of the female students, colour and their creative capabilities.
He said that this excellent exhibition of the fine art is a rare opportunity of expression of the human ideas.
These views were expressed by the Governor while addressing the participants of the fine art exhibition organized at the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University here the other day.
The fine art exhibition was organized by the Fine Art Department of the Women University.
Also present on the occasion were the Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani besides others.
The Governor said that the fine art exhibition is not mere for the artists but we can also polish the creative talent of all students of the university through such activities.
He said that there’s no dearth of talent in our women but lack of necessary facilities and opportunities create hurdles in their way.
The Governor urged the university administration to keep on such activities in future as well. He also exhorted the students to take wholehearted part in these activities.
Later, the Governor visited the exhibition and inspected the art pieces displayed there.
He also announced prizes for the outstanding artists.
