WATCHMAN SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR FORGERY IN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT RECRUITMENT SCAM

The Anti-Corruption Special Court of Larkana has sentenced a watchman of the education department to 10 years in prison and fined him 10 lakh 98 thousand rupees in a forgery case related to recruitment in the education department in Qamber Shahdadkot.

According to the court’s verdict, Riayaz son of Muhammad Punhal Naich, the watchman, was found guilty of recruiting a junior employee through forgery in 2012. Two accountants, Abdul Jabbar and Mehboob Kalhori, were acquitted in the case.

The court’s decision comes after a detailed hearing of the case, which was presided over by Judge Suresh Kumar. The conviction and sentencing of the watchman reflect the court’s efforts to tackle corruption and ensure accountability in the education department.
