University of Turbat Slams QESCO’s Inaction After Power Outage

Independent Report.

Turbat, Oct. 08, The University of Turbat administration has strongly condemned QESCO’s failure to cooperate in restoring electricity to the campus after a severe storm and heavy rainfall damaged three power transmission line poles on Sunday evening.
The power outage disrupted electricity supply to the university, forcing the postponement of Monday’s exams. Despite timely notification and requests from university officials, QESCO’s technical staff refused to assist in restoring power.
University staff took initiative and successfully reinstalled the poles, but QESCO’s technical team declined to complete the restoration process. This lack of cooperation has been widely criticized by the university administration.
The university administration has urged QESCO’s higher authorities to intervene and ensure prompt restoration of electricity. The university staff’s efforts to restore power were commendable, but QESCO’s inaction has caused unnecessary disruptions.
The university has requested QESCO to take immediate action to resolve the issue and ensure uninterrupted power supply to the campus.
