QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has stated that it is our government’s utmost endeavour to get every child in the schools all over province.
He said that the government is paying special attention on health of children besides ensuring education for all.
The caretaker Chief Minister stated so in an official hand out issued here on the eve of Universal Children Day being observed today (Monday) all over the globe including Pakistan.
The theme of Children Day is “for Every child, every right.” It may be mentioned here that World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children, marking the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The Chief Minister said that the children happen to be the builders of future, and their best upbringing is essential for formation of the healthy society.
He said that we have to provide our children a bright and safe future. This is why, the government is paying special attention on the health and education of the children, Mr. Domki maintained.
He said that the children below five years of age are being administered the anti-polio vaccine besides implementing the routine immunization programme to save them from various diseases.
He said that it is our endeavour to get every child in school. The government has also taken wholehearted measures for recreation and sports activities for the children in the educational institutions and otherwise. He said that the healthy children are guarantor of the bright future of the country and province.
The caretaker Chief Minister said that let’s make pledge to give shining future to our children.
