UNICEF assures full cooperation to work on better healthcare of mother & infants in Balochistan

QUETTA: The country Director UNICEF, Abdullah A. Fadil has assured that the UNICEF would extend full cooperation to work on the better healthcare of the mothers and infants in the province.
He also assured to work on the roadmap and work plan of the provincial government in this regard.
The country Director of UNICEF was in meeting with the caretaker Minister Health, Dr. Amir Muhammad Khan Jogezai here on Thursday.
Also present in the meeting were included the provincial representative of the UNICEF, Ms. Mariym, Dr. Aamir Alizai, field security officer, Naseeb Kakar and Dr. Amin Khan Mandokhail.
The Country Director and Provincial representative of UNICEF appreciated the roadmap as discussed with them by the interim Health Minister during the course of meeting.
The UNICEF representatives also briefed the overall functioning and contribution of the Fund in health sector of Balochistan.
Earlier, the Minister Health Dr. Jogezai appreciated the services being rendered by UNICEF in the health sector of the province.
He told that the government is ensuring effective steps for saving the people from diseases.
