” Jafarabad, . Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jafarabad, Azhar Shahzad, an important meeting was held yesterday regarding preparations for the upcoming monsoon rains. All district heads, including religious leaders, participated in the meeting. Detailed discussions were held on the situation arising after the rains and the precautionary measures to be taken. The meeting also focused on effective emergency response during floods and highlighted various aspects. Participants were informed to eliminate any confusion and ensure realistic planning.

The meeting decided to form a committee to inspect the weak points of the Patt Feeder Canal and its sub-branches. The committee will physically inspect vulnerable areas and check all available machinery, repairing it if necessary.

Emphasis was also placed on improving the health sector and ensuring the availability of medicines in sufficient quantities, especially in basic health centers like BHUs, CDs, RHCs, and DHQ.”
