Umer Kot, On the occasion of World Water Day, an awareness rally was organized under the leadership of Ali Muhammad Rand, Regional Incharge of Environment Department, Regional Office Mirpurkhas, from Deputy Commissioner Office Umerkot.
In which social organization SPO coordinator Shivaram Vikram Kumar assistant director of environment department Umarkot district, FEES chairman Saroop Chand, Sikander Babbar from Pathfinder, lawyer Mohammad Bakhsh from Scar Welfare Foundation, Alamgir Bilal and Naresh Kumar from CWSA, Abdullah Khosa from NCHD. Citizens, including social workers, participated in large numbers.
Addressing the participants of the rally, Ali Mohammad Rand said that the purpose of the rally is to make people aware of the growing water shortage and supply of clean water.
He said that water is very important for life, so we all should not waste water, if possible, water should be used carefully.
