Shikarpur,(Correspendent) August 6, 2024: In two separate encounters, Shikarpur police arrested two robbers who were injured during exchanges of fire with police personnel.
According to details, the encounters took place in the limits of New Fojdari and Lakhi Dar police stations. The robbers, identified as Shehzad Sheikh and Aamir Birro, were attempting to commit dacoity when police teams from both stations responded promptly and reached the scenes.
Upon seeing the police, the robbers opened fire, and in the ensuing exchange of fire, two robbers were injured and arrested. Police recovered weapons and rounds from their possession.
The injured robbers were shifted to a civil hospital for treatment. SSP Shikarpur said that the criminal records of the arrested robbers are being checked, and those who fled the scene have been traced and will be arrested soon.
