QUETTA: As many as 12 persons including two police personnels got injured in an explosion took place in Eastern bypass area on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the explosion was occurred along the road near a police mobile in Eastern bypass near Barakzai town on Monday morning.
As a result of the explosion, 12 persons got injured some of them seriously. They were included two police personnels.
Apparently, the police mobile was attacked in the subversive act, the police informed. The police and rescue teams rushed to the spot, and shifted all the injured to Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital.
The injured were removed to the Trauma Center after preliminary treatment at the casualty ward of Sandeman Hospital.
Meanwhile, the police informed that the remote control device was planted in a motorbike parked along the road in Eastern bypass.
However, further investigations are in progress. No claim of the subversive act was made by anyone till ours going to the press nor any arrest could be made.
