QUETTA: Two coalmine workers died of poisonous gas suffocation in a coalmine located in Shahrag area of Harnai on Wednesday.
According to the Chief Mines Inspector, two mine workers were working in a coalmine located in the PMDC coalmine area of Shahrag when they were trapped there and died of suffocation of poisonous gas.
Later, their bodies were taken out from the affected coalmine by the local coalmine workers on self-help basis.
The bodies of ill-fated coalmine workers were shifted to the Rural Health center, Shahrag from where these were handed over to their heirs.
They were identified as Abdul Bari son of Said Gul and Lali son of Shah Wali belonging to Pishin district.
