QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Muhammad Achakzai has stated that Turbat is going to be the future silicone city of the country.
The Minister said that the southern Balochistan is rich in resources besides having the educated human resource that can be beneficial for the CPEC projects.
Jan Achakzai was speaking to the faculty members and students during his visit to the Turbat University on Wednesday.
The Vice Chancellor Dr Jan Muhammad, administration and faculty members welcomed the caretaker Minister upon his arrival in the Turbat university.
He noted with pleasure that Turbat University is providing higher educational facilities to the youth of Kech and other areas of the province.
He said that the ratio of literacy is higher than other areas of the province, and adding hoped that the students would brighten the name of country after getting education.
He praised the University for imparting higher education to the students in Kech district.
He stressed the need to focus on the sectors which provide maximum opportunities of employments.
He pointed out that there is much room of acquiring livelihood in the IT sector, so our youth should acquire digital skills to earn livelihood.
