Shikarpur, August 26, – The ongoing tribal violence in Shikarpur district claimed another life on Monday, as a young man became the latest victim of the bloody feud between the Mahar and Jatoi communities.
According to reports, the deadly clash occurred in the katcha area of Chak police station, where 18-year-old Muneeb Ahmed, son of Abdul Rahman Bhayo, was killed on the spot. Another person, Mamo Sajjan Mahar, was seriously injured in the exchange of fire.
The incident is believed to be part of an ongoing tribal dispute between the two rival communities. No FIR has been registered in connection with the incident so far.
The continued bloodshed in the region has raised concerns about the authorities’ ability to control the situation and bring peace to the affected areas.
