Training of 52,234 polling staff continues in different phases all over Balochistan: PEC

QUETTA: The training of polling staff is continued for conducting general elections in Balochistan.

According to the Provincial Election Commissioner, Ejaz Anwar Chohan, the training of 52,234 polling staff is being conducted all over the province in different phases.

The polling staff includes Senior Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers and Polling Officers.

The PEC informed that there are 41,586 Assistant Presiding and Polling Officers being trained for the elections.

The training of polling staff would remain continued till January 11,2024.

It may be mentioned here that the training of polling officers was started on December 25, 2023.

Moreover, the training of Presiding and Senior Presiding Officers would be conducted between January 13 to February 1, 2024.
