Tragedy Strikes Duki: Two Truck Drivers Killed in Coal-Laden Truck Accident

Duki, November 3: A devastating accident occurred when a coal-loaded truck overturned due to brake failure at Mandi Tek, Duki, claiming the lives of two brothers, Sabir Khan and Samiullah, who were driving the vehicle.
According to SHO Humayun Khan Nasser, the incident happened when the truck’s brakes failed, causing it to plunge into a deep ravine and trapping the drivers under the coal. Rescue teams retrieved the bodies and shifted them to the civil hospital.
The deceased drivers belonged to Zhob’s Tadin Zai area. After necessary formalities, the bodies were handed over to the family.
Duki Truck Union’s District President Raza Khan Nasser provided Rs. 100,000 as financial assistance to the bereaved family and arranged transportation of the bodies to Zhob.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated, with police confirming brake failure as the cause.
Locals and officials have expressed condolences to the grieving family, praying for the departed souls. The tragic incident highlights the need for stricter vehicle safety measures to prevent such accidents.
