QUETTA: The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Tourism Committee has decided to take steps for improvement of tourism places in Gwadar and make their publicity at large scale.
The decision to this effect was made during the first meeting of the GDA Tourism Committee held under the chair of Director Administration, GDA, Changez Khan in Gwadar on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed the prospects of the promotion of tourism in the port city.
It was decided to ensure participation of all stakeholders including the private sector for promotion of the tourism in Gwadar.
The participants expressed the resolve to make wholehearted efforts for making Gwadar attractive and peaceful tourism hub in time to come.
In this regard, the government and private organizations would be taken on board, it was decided further.
The committee noted with pleasure that work is already in progress on a comprehensive plan for development and preservation of the historic culture of Gwadar.
In addition to this, sea food street, water sports, GDA club and amusement park are also part of the future projects in Gwadar, it was informed to the committee.
