Larkana, August 25, 2024 – Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Larkana, Nasir Aftab Pathan, has issued strict security orders for the Larkana range on the occasion of Chehllam Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
In a meeting with all police officers of the region, DIGP Pathan directed all participating officers to be on high alert and maintain law and order in the district. He emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and supremacy.
To ensure foolproof security, plainclothes and uniformed police personnel will be deployed along procession routes, Majlis, and Imambargahs. Additional security measures, including patrolling and snap checks, will also be implemented.
SSPs of Larkana Range have been instructed to personally oversee security arrangements and maintain close coordination with other law enforcement agencies.
The DIGP reiterated that the safety and security of participants and citizens are of utmost importance and directed all officers to remain vigilant and take prompt action in case of any untoward incident.
