Three persons perish as diesel
laden truck caught fire after
overturn at Makran highway

QUETTA: Three persons including a driver and two aides were killed when a diesel-laden vehicle overturned and caught fire at the Makran coastal highway on Sunday morning.
According to the reports reaching here, the vehicle carrying Iranian diesel was on its way on the Makran coastal highway when it overturned at a sharp turn. Soon after the truck carrying the diesel overturned at the highway, it caught fire resulting in on the spot death of all three persons on board.
Although the area levies and administration rushed towards the spot of accident, but it couldn’t extinguish the fire until it put out by itself after sometime.
Later, the bodies of ill-fated driver and two others were retrieved from the burnt vehicle and shifted to the nearby hospital.
In the meantime, the flow of traffic remained suspended for hours at both sides of the highway from the spot where the accident occurred.
