SHIKARPUR: One outlaw was killed in the firing of housemaster and thieves at village Muhammad Hayat Brohi in the limit of Rustam Police Station on Tuesday in early hours.
According to reports reached here that some group thieves equiped with weapons entered the house of Yar Muhammad Brohi near to Rustam town as to steal the cattles. But suddenly housemaster and others awakened and managed resistance with the outlaws.
As a result of exchange of firings, one outlaw identified as Ghulam Hyder Dodani Jatoi was killed on the spot. While rest of thieves managed good their escape while firing and gaining the chance of darkness.
Area police took the dead body in their possession and transported to Taluka Hospital Khanpur for Medico Legal formalities.
The dead body of deceased was handed over to his heirs and started the investigation into the matter, area police added.
The housemaster leaved his home with entire family in fear of revenge of outlaws.
No FIR was registered till late evening.
