There is a need to mobilize public opinion worldwide against Indian projects: Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai

Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary General of Washington-based Kashmir Awareness Forum, has said that the Indian government is rapidly implementing the plan to end the Muslim-majority identity of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Under BJP plan, RSS has set up more than 75 schools in Occupied Kashmir with the aim of spreading education against the fundamental tenets of Islam, which is a dangerous project.

Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai was speaking on the occasion of visiting the office of Kashmir Press International (KPI). On this occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Ameer Dr. Mushtaq, former Ameer Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Secretary General Raja Jahangir Khan, Leader of Azad Jammu and Kashmir branch of All Party Hurriyat Conference, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, President of Tehreek Kashmir Europe, Mohammad Ghalib, President of Tehreek Kashmir UK, Raja Faheem Kiani, Head of World Kashmir Freedom Movement, Muzamil Ayub Thakur, Khatun Social Activist Shaista Safi, Nazir Ahmad Qureshi, Sardar Zulfiqar Ahmed, Zafar Ahmed Qureshi and other Kashmiri leaders were also present.

Dr. Fai said that there is a need to mobilize public opinion around the world against the Indian projects, referring to the important demonstration in the United States against the cancellation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by India on August 5, 2019, in which more than 35,000 people participated. Most of them were from Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
