The sports gala at Islamia College has come to end ,Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai distributed trophies and medals among the players.

PESHAWAR – Sports gala in Islamia College Peshawar has come to an end.Chief guest Islamia College Peshawar Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai distributed trophies, middles and shields among the players.Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai, Provost Syed Kamal Dr. Naveed Abbas Director Sports Ali Hoti and others were present.
Central Chairman of Khalil Students Organization Zubair Khalil and former Campus President Arbab Waqas Khalil and Solar Energy CEO Zargar Khan also took special participation in sports gala.
16 different departments participated in the sports gala at Islamia College Peshawar.In the cricket final match, the physics department won the title by defeating the English department.Sharafat Khan of Physics department was adjudged the best bowler and man of the match while Asad Khan of English department was adjudged the best batsman of the tournament. Imad Khalil won the sports gala badminton tournament while Wajahat Khalil was the runner-up.In the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai said that this initiative of Khalil Students Organization was highly appreciated and similar events will be organized in the future.He said that along with curricular activities, extra-curricular activities are also very important. Islamia College has produced famous players in the past and will continue the same traditions in the future as well and these other players will also make the country and nation famous.
