The Sindh Government has decided to investigate the non-performance of the multi-crore project for the restoration of the surface drain of Ghotki. Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar has said that a plan will be added for a permanent solution to re-work the Dingar Canal and Bigo Canal of Ghotki and an investigation will be conducted if the project worth crores of rupees started for the restoration of the surface drain is not completed. While talking to journalists during his visit to Ghotki and government hospitals, he added that there have been complaints of lack of medicines, lack of staff and lack of facilities in the government hospitals of Ghotki district. Remedial measures will be taken soon by contacting, an engineering university and an educational institution will be established in Ghotki and unemployed youth will be trained and employment will be provided in industrial establishments. Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar said that all possible assistance will be given to the people affected by the rains of Ghotki district. He said that the people of Ghotki district are very worried about the electricity loadshedding, the electricity loadshedding is being done for many hours, due to the loadshedding, the staff is also facing difficulties in draining the rain water. Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar said that the killers of Shaheed Jan Muhammad Mahar and Nasrullah Gadani will be punished severely, the accused involved in the murder of martyred journalists will not be spared, monitoring of the big and small drains, sewers and canals of Ghotki district.
