The measurements taken by the Pakistan Meteorological Department show that the average temperature has increased by almost two degrees Celsius and the amount of rainfall has decreased significantly. This has devastatingly affected agriculture in the province, as crops require a certain amount of moisture to grow. The Government is responsible for providing farmers with the necessary support to deal with climate change, but unfortunately, they have not been able to do so. Ultimately, the future prosperity of Balochistan depends on current action taken by those who hold power over it.
