The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, has announced a one-day mourning period on May 20, 2024, to condole the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and others who died in a helicopter crash. The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident and praised the leadership of the Iranian President, saying his death has deprived the Muslim Ummah of a great leader. He also extended condolences to the Iranian people and said the people of Kashmir share their grief, praying for the deceased to be granted the highest place in paradise and for the bereaved to be granted patience and courage.
