Lahore :: Provincial Livestock Minister Ibrahim Hassan Murad said that the department has to develop a Livestock Farmer Guidance App for the betterment and guidance of farmers. Farmer guidance app will have two prominent features, the option of registration in the app will be optional while the user can view their relevant information. The provincial minister expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting in his camp office on Monday. Ibrahim Hassan Murad said that the voice assistance feature has to be implemented in both Urdu and English in the FAQ section of the app, however, the app should have rating features regarding service delivery. The Provincial Livestock Minister emphasized that the rating will reflect the performance of the staff and strict action will be taken against the employees with low rating while the best performing veterinary staff will be given certificates of appreciation. He added that farmers’ opinions will be included in App and the App will have livestock podcasts and shows while the app will also include information from the Department of Agriculture. Additional Secretary Dr Usman Tahir, PSO Livestock Mohammad Bilal, Asif Qamar Program Manager and Project Director Ali Raza participated in the meeting.
