Peshawar – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, taking strict action against terrorism, has included ten persons from Khyber district in the fourth schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act. This decision has been taken on the basis of a letter issued by the District Intelligence Coordination Committee on 7th October 2024. The government’s statement said that among the nominees are Hussain Ahmed, Aftab Shinwari, Samiullah, Muqib Afridi, Muhammad Hanif Afridi. , Jahangir Khan, Malik Nasir Ahmad, Khan Wali, Imran Lala, and Amjad. The names of these individuals have been immediately added to the Fourth Schedule under the Anti-Terrorism Act, under which they will face several sanctions.
These restrictions are as follows:
Each person has to sign one or more surety bonds before the District Police Officer of his area to give an assurance that he will not be involved in terrorism. They have to get permission from the local police station in-charge and inform their travel details before going anywhere from their place of residence.
