QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has underlined the need to prepare a comprehensive strategy to tackle the present challenges being faced by the province.
He said that the policy of taking all on board can put the country and province on path of sustainable development.
This was stated by the Governor while speaking on occasion of the visit of University of Gwadar in Gwadar on Friday.
Also present on the occasion were the Vice Chancellor, University of Gwadar, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, senior faculty members, administrative officers and other concerned.
The Governor went round of different sections of the University and inspected them. He inaugurated the new academic block of the University and directed to complete the work on different buildings in the University.
The Governor expressed satisfaction over the performance of University of Gwadar. He said that we are succeeding in our goals of spreading and promoting higher education all over the province especially in Makran division.
He said that the day is not far away when the students belonging to Turbat, Gwadar and Panjgur would succeed in making difference in education at the national level.
He on the occasion stressed the need to strive for fulfilling the future requirements in the ever-changing world.
Meanwhile, the Governor visited the Pak-China Vocational Training Institute in Gwadar the same day.
He also inspected different parts of the Institute and had interaction over the available facilities with the students there.
He said that the world has turned into global village thanks to the information technology. He said that our competition is with the youth and people of the modern world, as such we have to impart quality education and training to our youth in view of the future day needs.
He also said that the world is entering into the era of pen less and paper less with the help of artificial intelligence and robotic technology. He on the occasion expressed satisfaction over performance of the Pak-China Vocational Training Institute saying that the youth of Gwadar and its adjacent areas would benefit a lot.
