– The Governor attended a ceremony at the Chinese Cultural Center in Peshawar, where he inaugurated a video showcasing the Pakistan-China friendship and cut a cake to mark the 73rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
– The Governor praised the strong friendship between Pakistan and China, saying it is “higher than the Himalayas, sweeter than honey, and deeper than the ocean.”
– He acknowledged China’s support for Pakistan in difficult times and expressed hope for further economic and trade cooperation between the two countries through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
– The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the Consul General of Afghanistan, Hafiz Mohibullah, Bishop of Pakistan, Ernest Jacob, and other prominent figures from various fields.
