The case of murder of senior lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar has been registered against the former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan here on Wednesday.

 

QUETTA: The case of murder of senior lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar has been registered against the former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan here on Wednesday.
According to the police sources, the case has been registered against Imran Khan and others in the Shaheed Jamil Kakar Police Station.
The son of Abdul Razzaq Shar filed the FIR against the PTI chief nominating him in his father’s murder case.
The FIR was registered under different sections including murder and Anti-Terrorist Act and different other sections.
The senior lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar was shot dead by unknown armed men on Tuesday morning while he was on his way to the court from his residence near Airport road.
He was the petitioner in the constitutional petition filed against the former PM Imran Khan seeking proceedings of gross treason under Article 6.
The hearing of petition was also fixed on Wednesday in the Balochistan High Court. However, it was deferred due to non-availability of the division bench.
