The Balochistan Food Authority (BFA) has set its sights on providing safe and hygienic food for the people residing in the province.

 

( Quetta ) : The Balochistan Food Authority (BFA) has set its sights on providing safe and hygienic food for the people residing in the province. This was emphasized by the Director General BFA, Muhammad Naeem Bazai, during a welcome meeting with newly appointed Food Safety Officers, Lab Technologists, and Food Safety Supervisors. The meeting was held to introduce the new team members to BFA’s vision, mission, and objectives.DG Naeem Bazai stressed the significance of their role in ensuring the safety and quality of food in the province. He also gave them an overview of BFA’s organizational structure, responsibilities, and key functions.
Simultaneously, a four-day training session commenced for the newly appointed officials. On the first day, Director BFA Mohammad Ishaq provided a comprehensive briefing on how to enhance teamwork abilities. The freshly recruited officers assured their dedication and sincerity towards achieving their respective roles and responsibilities. Their aim is to ensure that the inhabitants of Balochistan have access to healthy and hygienic food. To sum up, Director Bazai encouraged all the officers to work collaboratively and strive for excellence to enhance the food safety situation in Balochistan.
In a four-day training program, newly hired personnel will also receive additional information and instructions on the Balochistan Food Authority Act 2014, operations, registration and licensing procedures, BFA regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as the BFA website and mobile applications. This comprehensive training will equip them with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively enforce food safety measures in Balochistan.
