The arrival of Holy Prophet ﷺ was end of ancient era and begining of modern era: Aneeq

Religion gives perfect and permanent values to humanity: Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed said this today while addressing the Sirat-ul-Nabi conference held at Islamia University Bahawalpur. In the conference organized under the title “Life of the Prophet and Human Values and Their Effects on Society”, University Vice Chancellor Dr. Naveed Akhtar, former Vice Chancellor Dr. Saleem Tariq, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sharqawi from Al-Azhar University, Dr. Saad Siddiqui, Dr. Hafiz Shafiq and Dr. Sheikh Shafiq gave speeches. Minister of Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed said that all the high morals practiced in modern times started from Madinah Tayyaba. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent to convey morals to its ever highest standards. We have to implement the morals of the Prophet ﷺ in our lives. There should be harmony in our speech and character. The standards of human values have been determined by Allah and His Messenger. Vice Chancellor of Bahawalpur University Dr. Naveed Akhtar said that the holding of the Seerat-ul-Nabi conference is a source of happiness for all of us. Bahawalpur University will continue to promote the Prophet’s (PBUH) biography in the society. Dr. Salim Tariq said that we should avoid the immoral behavior of the societies that are suffering from disaster. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave a positive direction to the good values of the Arabs and eradicated the bad values. Courage, honesty and justice are prerequisites to prevail in the world. Dr. Saad Siddiqui said that the words of a person whose silence is the law will be a great proof. There was no concept of change in human values until the Jahili period. Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Al-Shaqawi said that in Surah Hashar guidance is given to the practical form of Islamic values. Sacrifice and self-sacrifice for others for the sake of Allah’s pleasure and help is included in Islamic values. Dr. Hafiz Shafiq said that acquiring useful knowledge is the distinction of this Ummah. Dr. Sheikh Shafiq said that due to distance from Islamic values, there is chaos and anxiety in our lives. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) presented his morals before the invitation to truth, today moral degradation has increased in the society.
