The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has strongly condemned the fascist Modi government for conspiring to kill Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik through the judiciary.

A meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmed Saghar in Islamabad, in which it was said that India’s biased courts are working under the influence of Hindutva elements and Kashmiris are being punished for demanding their birthright to self-determination.

It was said in the meeting that the Indian kangaroo courts had always disappointed the Kashmiris. The demand by India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) to give death sentence to Yasin Malik is a deep conspiracy for the judicial killing of another popular Kashmiri leader.

The meeting expressed regret that the unholy nexus of the Indian government and the anti-Muslim judiciary had taken the lives of many innocent Kashmiris and the judicial killing of prominent Kashmiri martyrs Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru were fresh examples of the injustice done to Kashmiris.

The meeting appealed to the United Nations and other human rights organizations to come forward and save Kashmiris from Hindutva terrorism and play role in release of JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, APHC Chairman Masarat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Khan, Aasiya Andrabi and other Hurriyat leaders and activists.

While, paying homage to 17-year-old Aasiya Jan and her sister-in-law Neelofar Jan in the meeting, the tragedy of rape and double murder in Shopian was termed as a serious attack on the collective conscience of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

It was said in the meeting that the Shopian tragedy had shaken the conscience of the people of Kashmir Valley and it could not be ignored under any circumstances.

Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, Mir Tahir Masood, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Javed Iqbal Butt, Hasan Al Bana, Raja Khadim Hussain, Salim Haroon, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Zahid Ashraf, Nazir Karnai, and others participated in the meeting.
