THATTA POLICE CRACKS DOWN ON GUTKA FACTORY, ARRESTS 3 SELLERS

Thatta Police has conducted a successful raid on a gutka factory in the city, arresting three gutka sellers and recovering a large quantity of gutka and other materials used in its production.

According to the press release issued by the District Thatta Police (Information and Public Relations Department), the raid was conducted under the directives of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzak Dharejo, and SSP Thatta Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan.

The police recovered 6000 packets of gutka, 25 kg of prepared gutka, lime, and other materials used in gutka production. A case has been registered against the accused under the Gutka Act at Ghora Bari Police Station.

The press release stated that the crackdown on gutka factories and sellers is part of the ongoing efforts by Thatta Police to eradicate the menace of gutka and other narcotics from the city.
