Thatta Police Crack Down on Smugglers and Narcotics Dealers

In a successful operation, Thatta Police arrested four suspects, including three Indian gutka suppliers and one narcotics dealer, and registered cases against them.¹ The operation, carried out under the directives of Sindh IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon and Hyderabad Range DIG Tariq Razzaq Dharejo, resulted in the seizure of:

– *10,000 packets of Indian Adab gutka*
– *400 packets of gutka mawa*
– *1 Swift car*
– *1 rickshaw loader*
– *80 bags of local liquor*

Thatta SSP Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan’s orders were executed by SHO Dabheji Inspector Mubeen Parhyar and his team, who conducted the operation near the National Highway Road from Thatta to Karachi FM. Two gutka suppliers, Saeedullah Pathan and Muhammad Idris Pathan, were apprehended along with 10,000 packets of Indian Adab gutka, 100 packets of gutka mawa, and a Swift car.

This operation is part of Thatta Police’s ongoing crackdown on narcotics, professional criminals, and gutka smugglers. The police remain committed to maintaining law and order in the region.
