THATTA POLICE CONDUCTS DISTRICT-WIDE SNAP CHECKING TO MAINTAIN PEACE AND SECURITY

Thatta, Sept 12, 2024: On the directives of DIGP Hyderabad Tariq Rizwan Dharejo and SSP Thatta Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, Thatta Police has launched a district-wide snap checking operation to maintain peace and security in the district.

During the operation, all motorcycles, rickshaws, passenger vans, buses, and other vehicles were checked. Additionally, tinted glasses and fancy number plates were removed from several vehicles. SDPOs, along with their respective SHOs, are conducting snap checking in their areas.

The police are also conducting snap checking at key locations in the city, particularly at entry and exit points. Several suspicious individuals and motorcycles without number plates have been taken into custody for verification.

The purpose of the snap checking is to maintain peace and security in the district on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
