PESHAWAR – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested more than a dozen terrorists and facilitators by tracing the Bisham suicide attack case.The network involved in the attack belongs to the banned organization TTP.
According to CTD sources, the suicide attack was related to Afghanistan.
Among those arrested were four facilitators, according to CTD sources , In Afghanistan, the suicide car full of explosives was brought to D.I Khan Dara Zinda through Chaman.
The driver who delivered the vehicle from Dara Zinda to Chakdra was given a fare of Rs 250,000 and has been arrested.
Important arrests have been made from the suicide attacker’s mobile SIM.The person whose name the mobile SIM was registered gave to the second suicide attacker’s.
The vehicle used in the attack was parked at a petrol pump near Shangla for 10 days on rent of Rs 500 per day. According to the investigation team sources, the vehicle was brought to the blast site on the day of the suicide attack.
Among those who transported the vehicle from Chaman to Chakdra, a facilitator has been arrested from Balochistan.
The mastermind of the attack, Hazrat Bilal Daso, is also directly involved and wanted in the dam attack.
Two accomplices of the suicide attack were also arrested while the arrest of Hazrat Bilal is expected soon.
The vehicle used in the attack was transported to Chakdra through a non-customs paid vehicle smuggler.The said smugglers deliver twenty to thirty vehicles a week from Chaman to Chakdra.
