Swat Police Vows to Eliminate Terrorism, Prioritize Law and Order

Irfanullah Khan, the newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Malakand Division, has expressed confidence in Swat police’s ability to combat terrorism and restore peace in the region. “We have the spirit to eliminate terrorism,” Khan emphasized, highlighting the police force’s bravery and readiness to tackle any untoward incidents [2).
Khan stressed that maintaining law and order is the top priority, with concrete steps being taken to achieve this goal. He acknowledged the ultimate sacrifice made by hundreds of police personnel and officers who lost their lives fighting against terrorism [2).
The DIG instructed police officers to foster a friendly environment, demonstrating humility and courtesy when interacting with the public at police stations, and showing respect to all individuals [2).
As the new DIG, Khan’s leadership aims to ensure public safety and security in Swat and the broader Malakand Division.
